Impact Tested Manual Security Bollard - OPTI 139
The OPTI 139 security bollard became the first UK manufactured manual security post to be impact tested when we hit it at 30 km/h (20 mph) with a frame weighing over twice as much as a family car. The bollard was deflected by just 2 degrees, the concrete foundation deflecting by 17 degrees. The British standard for a test of this nature is a deflection of no more than 31 degrees.
